The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

We were shocked to discover that the R.A.F Benevolent Fund has changed its long-standing address.

Until very recently the fund, which provides much-needed grants to R.A.F. personnel, was based at 12 Park Crescent, W1 1PH but for some unknown reason moved its operation to 67 Portland Place, W1B 1AR.

We were surprise to find that 12 Park Crescent has also been home to:

Concord Data Systems

Psion Digital Services

We’ve also heard rumours that wrinkly rogue Shirley Porter has links to the address.

Quite why the RAFBF has decided to move home is anyone’s guess but we can only hope everything’s above-board.

A more worrying aspect of the Fund is this.

It’s Director of Administration was none other than former Westminster Councillor Michael Vearncombe.

Yes, the very same Michael Vearncombe who was jailed for a year for the theft of thousands of pounds from a community project who now uses the pseudonym Michael Asher.

Is there more to the R.A.F. Benevolent Fund than meets the eye?
