The damning Jillings report, which investigated child-abuse in North Wales care homes, has been released today after being suppressed for a staggering 20 years.
To say there’s been a massive cover-up going right to the top of the British Establishment is putting it mildly.
The report concluded that there was “extensive” mistreatment of young people over a “substantial” number of years and the lives of many children had been blighted by the abuse they suffered while living at the homes.
Some boys who were abused there have died in mysterious cirumstances.
” The journalist Pete Sawyer reported on the links between Mr X, Bryn Alyn and the murderous arson attack that led to the deaths of abused boys.
“Friends and relatives of the two victims, Adrian Johns, who died in the arson attack in April 1992, and Lee Homberg, who died of an apparent drugs overdose nearly three years later, are convinced that the two brothers were silenced because ‘they knew too much’ about the drugs and porn trade to which they had been introduced while in care.
Both Adrian and Lee had been abused at Bryn Alyn Community children’s home, Wrexham. Lee later gave evidence against the head of Bryn Alyn, John Allen, sentenced to six years imprisonment in February 1995 for offences of indecent assault.”
The insurance company Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Group spent £750,000 pounds in legal fees to prevent paying out £200,000 to the victims of the abuse despite knowing that the claims were true:
” Six victims of sex abuse at the Bryn Alyn children’s homes in north Wales have been told they will receive little of the compensation awarded to them.
The victims were awarded £200,000 damages between them in 2001, but did not receive the money because the company that owned the homes went bust.
The Appeal Court has ruled that Bryn Alyn’s insurance firm is not liable to meet the compensation awards in full.”
In a report in Pink News, serious claims were made against bald oddity William Hague:
” The late Sir Peter Morrison, a gay former Conservative MP and ex-parliamentary aide to Margaret Thatcher, has been described as a “paedophile” by the former leader of the Welsh Conservatives Rod Richards.
Mr Richards was a Welsh Assembly Member until 2002 and briefly led the party in the chamber during 1999.
According to the Mail on Sunday, Mr Richards has seen evidence linking Sir Peter to the North Wales children’s homes scandal, in which up to 650 youngsters in 40 homes were sexually, physically and emotionally abused during the seventies and eighties.
It is claimed Sir Peter made a number of “unexplained” visits to homes across Wales along with another senior Tory who is now dead.
Allegations have also been made in the Daily Star Sunday of a police cover-up of abuse involving senior politicians and that a complaint made by a teenage rent boy against an unnamed former cabinet minister was suppressed.
The paper claims the minister is still alive.
Attention towards Sir Peter Morrison’s private life was first raised last weekend by the former Conservative Health Minister Edwina Currie.
She told the Sunday Times that Sir Peter previously had engaged in sex with 16-year-old boys when the age of consent was 21.
Ms Currie said Sir Peter, a former deputy party chairman, was protected by a “culture of sniggering, of giggling and of nudge-nudge, wink-wink,” and that his behaviour was covered up by senior Tories.
Sir Peter died of a heart attack early in the morning of 13 July 1995, aged 51.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Rod Richards said:
“What I do know is that Morrison was a paedophile. And the reason I know that is because of the North Wales child abuse scandal.”
Mr Richards was the MP for Clwyd North West until 1997 and served as a junior minister in the Welsh Office during the last Conservative government.
He helped establish an inquiry into the scandal and believes William Hague, who was Welsh secretary at the time, “should have seen the evidence about Morrison” regarding his visits to children’s homes.
William Hague has denied being presented with any evidence linking Sir Peter to the child abuse scandal in North Wales.
On Saturday, Mr Hague’s spokesman said:
“Mr Hague established the North Wales Child Abuse Inquiry precisely because of the serious and widespread reports of abuse. It was set up to be as thorough as possible and its terms of reference were widely supported in parliament.”
There is strong evidence that boys were trafficked from North Wales care homes to the notorious Dolphin Square complex.
In the 1990′s the now-defunct Scallywag journal, published details of a vile boy brothel being used there by politicians and other VIP’s.
Children were being supplied to the paedophile ring by John Allen, also know as Sister Latex.
According to Justice Denied:
“ The letter written below is penned by Simon Regan Editor of Scallyway Magazine who’s half Brother Angus James Wilson, co-founder of Scallywag, died in Cyprus in 1994 whilst the magazine was investigating the elite paedophile ring operating in North Wales children’s homes and beyond.
In his letter Simon documents Scallywag’s investigation into the North Wales Child Abuse scandal and the tragic cover-up by the Courts and the Establishment.
Whilst the Police stole the affidavits the abused children had made, naming their high profile abusers, the notes of the interviews were kept by investigator Andrea Davison only to be seized by the Derby and North Wales Police in January 2010. http://google-law.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/andrea-davison-jimmy-savile-serco-and.html
Now that this paedophile ring, which Jimmy Savile procured for, is being exposed its time that the Police returned the Affidavits and the notes of these interviews. The names given by these abused children, some of whom died tragically, should be investigated anew but who can be trusted to do the investigation?
The daily mail recently wrote this article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2224167/Former-Minister-says-Thatcher-aide-paedophile-preyed-boys-home–Hague-known.html which opened up the whole North Wales Child abuse scandal up again. William Hauge and other Members of the last Tory Government covered up the fact the Peter Morrison MP Thatcher’s close friend and aide was named by children in the North Wales children’s homes as being a child abuser linked to an elite paedophile ring.
The Waterhouse Report
By Simon Regan
20 February 2000
The fact that the Waterhouse report went as far as it did is highly commendable, and obviously long overdue. But the trouble with any investigation which tries to break through a ‘cult of silence’ is the lingering doubts that it will ever get down to the whole full truth of the matter. Waterhouse is probably merely the tip of the iceberg.
The report suggests there is ‘no evidence’ that Freemasonry had anything to do with the scandal. Yet there were two inadequate and inconclusive police inquiries, including one into a senior officer, by a force in North Wales riddled with freemasons.
There was a consistent lack of initiative on the part of the local Clwyd CC in the face of overwhelming evidence of consistent child abuse at Bryn Estyn, ostensibly because the council insurers advised against any action. This in itself insults democracy in a way that borders on the criminal. By a policy of non-action, both the police and the council became embroiled in a blatant cover-up.
Anyone who has even vaguely become acquainted with paedophilia knows very well that they will go to the ends of the earth to keep their activities absolutely secret. They are professional experts in covering their tracks.
In the early nineties, in the now defunct Scallywag magazine, which I founded, we interviewed in some depth twelve former inmates at Bryn Estyn who had all been involved in the Wrexham paedophile ring, which the tribunal acknowledges existed. Most of these interviews were extremely harrowing and disturbing, but were gently and sensitively conducted over pub lunches where the victim could relax. We subsequently persuaded ten of them to make sworn affidavits which we proposed to use as back up to half a dozen paedophile stories we later published.
Two of these young men, who had been 14-years-old at the time, swore they had been not only introduced to the paedophile ring operating in the Crest Hotel in Wrexham but had later been escorted on three or four occasions to an address in Pimlico where they were further abused.
We took them separately to Pimlico and asked them to point out the building where this had taken place. They were both positive in their identification. It turned out to be the private flat of a well known, and since highly discredited lobbyist who later went into obscurity in some disgrace because of his involvement with Mohammed al-Fayed and the ‘cash for questions’ scandal. At the time we ran a story entitled ‘Boys for Questions’ and named several prominent members of the then Thatcher government. These allegations went to the very top of the Tory party, yet there was a curious and almost ominous lack of writs.
The lobbyist was a notorious ‘queen’ who specialised in gay parties with a ‘political mix’ in the Pimlico area – most convenient to the Commons – and which included selected flats in Dolphin Square. The two young men were able to give us very graphic descriptions of just what went on, including acts of buggery, and alleged that they were only two of many from children’s homes other than North Wales.
There was, to my certain knowledge, at least one resignation from the Conservative office in Smith Square once we had published our evidence and named names.
Subsequently, over a rent dispute which is still a matter of litigation, Dr. Julian Lewis, now Conservative MP for New Forest (East) but then deputy head of research at Conservative Central Office in Smith Square, managed to purchase the contents of our offices, which included all our files. It had been alleged that we owed rent, which we disputed, but under a court order the landlords were able to change the locks and seize our assets which included all our files, including those we had made on paedophiles. It was apparently quite legal, but it was most certainly a dirty trick.
All of a sudden very private information, some of it even privileged between ourselves and our lawyer during the John Major libel action, was being published in selected, pro-Conservative sections of the media.
Subsequently, during a court case initiated by Lewis, I was able in my defence to seek discovery of documents and asked to see the seized files. The paedophile papers were missing. This is a very great shame, because Sir Ronald Waterhouse certainly should have been aware of them.
I believe that the secrecy the Establishment wraps around itself easily equals that of the paedophiles. They really do look after each other and quite professionally cover their tracks.
The real trouble about exposing paedophiles is that former victims of child abuse make lousy witnesses. By the very nature of the abuse, when they are rudely shoved out into the wide world (one of the witnesses, Stephen Messham, for example, was released on his sixteenth birthday on Christmas day after two years of abuse, and had to sleep rough on the streets for four and a half months), they are often deeply psychologically disturbed.
Some of the extreme cases commit suicide, many more were sexually disorientated in the worst possible way. Some became gay prostitutes, others drug addicts, and in nearly every case, at some stage, they needed lengthy counselling. Marriages quickly disintegrated in psychological turmoil and a lot of former victims had real difficulties raising their own children. There are very few victims of child abuse who come out of it without deep scars.
It was all very well for us to take statements from former victims in the cosy atmosphere of a pub lunch, but put them up against an agile and eminent QC whose sole task is to discredit them, and they quickly crumble, even break down in tears. Many former victims now have criminal records of some kind, owing almost exclusively to the abuse itself, and the barrister will brutally exploit this as evidence that the witness is unreliable and tainted. Faced with the choice of a clearly neurotic young man who quickly falls down in the witness-box, and a smooth, experienced, erudite and often highly respected culprit, juries tend to give the accused the benefit of the doubt.
I watched it in the now famous Court 13 at the High Court during the libel action between former Supt. Gordon Anglesey and Private Eye (and others) when, despite the fact that under cross-examination, Anglesey had to admit that his evidence did not correspond with his own notebooks, the ‘other side’ subsequently tore the five main prosecution witnesses to pieces in a monumental act of judicial harassment. Like the whole story of child abuse in North Wales and elsewhere, it broke my heart.”
Another report from Scallywag implicated filthy Westminster Council:
As in the right-wing clique in Smith Square, with social headquarters in Dolphin Square, so they were able to put up a bold front in the Westminster City Council so discredited by the Dame Porter fiasco of selling council houses to pals for cash and support.
And here again, it was predominantly, and quite overtly, gay. Tony Karpel, now a special adviser to Kenneth Baker, was not only a prominent force in the council itself at the time, but had joined the CCO at the very same time as Julian Lewis, and shared his sympathies, both for extreme right-wing politics, and his fondness for male company.
You would be more than correct to put them down as bosom pals and political flatmates.
As you weave your way through the insidious net of dirty tricks, gerrymandering, the more sordid side of lobbying through sex, as we have, the more you keep coming across the name of Tony Karpel. Karpel and CO’s peers on the council included the crucial Chairman of Planning, Robert Davies, the Deputy Chairman, Simon Milton, the leader, Miles Young, and Cllrs Martindale, Alan Bradley, Alex Segal, Avery and Mortland.
All these belonged to the clique who invariably went out in small groups to the more insalubrious “Boys’ Clubs” in the Soho area where their council was, in fact, also the landlords.
Martindale even once toured the clubs in a Ministry car lent to him to go on a late night tour with a handful of pals. More often they would collect at one of the on-going soirées in Dolphin Square, where, of course, again, their council were the ultimate landlords.
While Karpel retained his very close relationship with the CCO, Deputy Chairman Simon Milton was helping Ian Greer and Associates – the lobby group specially set up to pander to the 100 known Tory gays in Westminster.
He then left to start up his own lobby group called ABCO.”
” Ian Greer, controversial lobbyist and close pal of Simon Milton , fled to South Africa following the cash for questions scandal in the nineties.
Was this the only reason he fled?
Could Ian Greer have important information about the abuse of boys at Dolphin Square?
Could Ian Greer shed light on the rumoured habits of his chum Derek Laud?
Why has Ian Greer set up a charitable organisation for adults and vulnerable children affected by the Aids crisis in South Africa?
According to ‘Ground Up’ :
“The Helderberg Street Peoples’ Centre in Somerset West cares for poor and marginalised people. It is a soup kitchen, but it also offers counselling and support to people with drug and alcohol problems, amongst other things.”
The HSPC website claims:
” In 2001, Ian Greer brought together eight churches of different denominations to help the poor and destitute in the community, by forming the Helderberg Street People’s Centre, now known as HSPC.
The primary objective of the HSPC is to give hope to people by making a difference in their lives.”
According to the Madtrust organisation :
” South Africa still has a very high child mortality rate with deaths rooted in poverty, poor nutrition and deteriorating living conditions for the poorest communities. The Helderberg Street Peoples Centre is a small but highly effective charity which combats some of these sad statistics at the root. Programmes look to feed and clothe the poorest community members, provide home based care, treatment for opportunistic infection and transport to medical centres for the sick and dying. The centre provides care for children losing their parents and comfort to their parents knowing their children will be looked after”
It’s becoming clearer, as each day passes, that many senior politicians are linked to the North Wales abuse scandal.
Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister when this abuse was taking place.
Leon Brittan, who was in Thatcher’s cabinet at the time, was passed a dossier about a VIP abuse ring by brave MP Geoffrey Dickens.
William Hague was in charge of the enquiry into North Wales child abuse which was a whitewash.
William Hague used to live at Dolphin Square.
Westminster Councillors have been linked to Dolphin Square abuse.
Ian Greer is a key player in the scandal.
All of these names are very important witnesses in the case of VIP child-abuse in North Wales and Dolphin Square.
We bloody well hope that Operation Pallial officers are making plans to call them in for questioning a.s.a.p.
Why the hell wouldn’t they?
