Cliff Richard, Operation Fernbridge, Hugh Grant and the gay childhood crush

It’s a little-known fact that beloved Christian singer, Cliff Richard, is named as a visitor of filthy boy-brothel Elm Guest House.

Quite why Operation Fernbridge officers haven’t had a word with Cliff yet is anyone’s guess.

He even kindly produced a ditty for them entitled ” Don’t forget to catch me“, in case they’d missed him from their check-list.

In a bizarre and quite moving twist to the story, it now transpires that Leveson hero Hugh Grant used to be in love with our Cliff.

So deep was his love that poor Hugh feared he was gay.

He also claimed that loving Cliff was akin to having bad taste.

Hugh Grant fears he was temporarily gay during his childhood – because he had a crush on veteran British crooner SIR Cliff Richard.

The Bridget Jones: THE EDGE OF REASON star famously dated glamorous model and actress Elizabeth Hurley and is currently romancing stunning heiress JEMIMA KHAN, but had very different tastes at the age of seven.

He explains,

I had a crush on Cliff Richard, which is embarrassing.

It means that when I was seven, I had bad taste and was presumably gay.”

Good Lord.

Is there no end to this Cliff-related merry-go-round?
